Is the road through Facebook paved with monetary rewards?
To the early and good application builders with a smart, watchful and flexible attention to simplicity, member volume and a revenue model, perhaps yes.
What do I mean by a revenue model? Simply put, a way to make money from whatever you do on Facebook. Let’s get something straight, from the beginning. Mere users of Facebook (i.e. those who merely join networks, subscribe to groups and add applications) do not stand much of a chance to capitalize financially on the Facebook phenomenon.
The revenue potential (note that I said revenue, not profit) lies in generating content that garners mass attention.
